Aircraft Cleaning & Detailing at Southampton Airport
Southampton sits at the heart of the Solent's business community — a compact, efficient regional airport whose based and visiting aircraft mix turboprops, corporate jets and serious private tourers.
We serve Southampton-handled aircraft with the same care we give the big gateways: full exterior and interior details, propeller and brightwork care for the turboprop community, and protection against the south coast's salt-carrying air.
Around two and a half hours from base — planned to your schedule.
Turboprop country on the south coast
Turboprops work hard here, and they soil in predictable ways: exhaust staining along the nacelles, oil film on the belly, leading edges that catch everything the Solent's air carries. Our turboprop routine answers each of these specifically — degrease where it's needed, spinner and brightwork attention, and boot care where pneumatic de-ice is fitted. Coastal-based aircraft also gain more than most from sealed paintwork.
Compact airport, straightforward access
Access is arranged by you or your handling agent under the airport's contractor rules; we comply with every security requirement. We are an independent provider, not affiliated with the airport operator, and we serve the wider Solent area — including the Isle of Wight's fields — on planned trips.
Blue Horizon Aviation is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the operator of Southampton Airport. Airside access is arranged by you or your handling agent — see our Service Terms. Appearance care only; we never perform maintenance or engineering work.

Questions
Southampton — questions answered
What owners and operators at Southampton Airport ask us most.
Do you look after de-ice boots?
Yes — routine boot cleaning is included within our exterior detail on boot-equipped aircraft, and restoration is available where inspection shows the rubber has weathered. We never recommend restoration by default.
Is salt exposure worse on the south coast?
Meaningfully — salt accelerates paint dulling and brightwork oxidation. Regular washing plus protection is the practical answer, and it's cheaper than restoration every time.
Can you serve the Isle of Wight?
Yes — planned trips can take in the island's airfields; travel is quoted transparently.
