Business Jet Cleaning & Detailing

A business jet is judged in the first three metres: the walk from the car to the airstair tells a passenger everything about how the aircraft is run. Jet appearance work is therefore as much about consistency and scheduling as technique — the standard has to be there on every departure, not just after deep details.

Jets bring their own technical demands: hydraulic film and Skydrol residue around gear and actuators (aggressive to paint and skin if left), APU exhaust staining on tailcones, reverser-area carbon, and cabins where leather, veneer and metalwork all meet in a small, expensive space. Discretion matters too — say the word and your aircraft, registration and operation stay entirely out of our photography and publicity.

What we're up against

Common contamination

Belly film

Hydraulic mist and carbon combine into the grey belly film every jet knows — removed with proper degreasing, not smeared.

Skydrol residue

Phosphate-ester hydraulic fluid around gear bays and actuators attacks paint if left; prompt, correct removal matters.

APU & reverser staining

Tailcone exhaust and reverser-area carbon build steadily and show badly on light paint.

Our recommendations

Keeping this category at its best

  • Exterior detail every four to six weeks in regular operation, with belly degrease on the same rhythm.
  • Cabin turnaround cleans between flights; scheduled deep details keep leather and carpet from ageing prematurely.
  • Protect paint with an OEM-recognised sealant system — it drops the effort of every subsequent wash.
  • Plan appearance work around the flight programme: early mornings, positioning gaps and scheduled downtime.

Questions

Business Jets — questions answered

Can you work around our flight schedule?

Yes — that's the job. Jet appearance work is planned around your programme, including early starts and short-notice windows, so presentation never costs availability.

How do you handle confidentiality?

We may photograph completed work for our website and social media — and if you'd rather your aircraft, registration or identity stayed private, tell us and nothing is published, ever. Any published image is also taken down promptly on request. Discretion is part of the service, not an optional extra.

Which protection products do you use on jets?

For managed and warranted jets we recommend cross-linking polymer sealant systems of the kind recognised by airframe manufacturers. Ceramic coatings remain an option for privately operated aircraft — we set out both honestly, including the approval position.

Operating business jets? Let's talk.

Tell us the type, where it's based and what you need. We'll come back promptly with a clear, honest quotation.
